1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Mentu, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. App purpose

Mentu is an iPhone app for family meal planning, collaborative weekly menu review, recipes, shopping lists, preparation tasks, and cooking timers. Public recipe discovery is disabled in the v1 release.

3. Accounts and responsibility

You are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your account, and activity that occurs under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials private and notify support if you believe your account has been misused.

4. Family collaboration

Family features let users create or join a family, invite members, assign cooking tasks, review meal plans, and share recipes or shopping information with permitted family members. Use these features respectfully and only invite people you know and have permission to contact.

5. Your content

You are responsible for recipes, images, comments, meal plans, shopping items, and other content you add to Mentu. You should only upload content that you own or have the right to use. You keep ownership of your content, but you allow Mentu to store, process, display, and share it as needed to provide the app.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use Mentu for unlawful, abusive, misleading, harassing, infringing, or harmful activity. You may not attempt to bypass security rules, access another user's data without permission, interfere with the service, or upload malicious content.

7. Nutrition, allergens, and health information

Mentu may display calories, macros, allergens, dietary preferences, baby-food preferences, lactation-related preferences, and recipe conflict checks. This information is provided for planning convenience only and is not medical, nutrition, or allergy advice.

Always verify ingredients, labels, allergens, food safety, and suitability for your family. Consult a qualified professional for medical, nutrition, allergy, pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, infant-feeding, or child-feeding advice.

8. Service availability

We work to keep Mentu reliable, but the app may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or changed from time to time. Some features depend on Apple services, Firebase, Google Cloud, internet access, notifications, and device settings.

9. Termination

You may stop using Mentu or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms have been violated, if required by law, or to protect the app, users, or infrastructure.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Mentu is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses related to recipes, nutrition information, allergens, shopping decisions, cooking outcomes, or service interruptions.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or providing notice in the app.

12. Contact

For questions about these terms or the app, contact us through the Support page or email da.iuvenis@gmail.com.
